On the topic Fractions, our teacher gave us Hersey's Cookie and Cream Chocolates to every group in our class. We had to share the chocolates equally among our group members. Then, based on the number of chocolates each members received, we wrote down the fraction. Finally, it was time to eat all the chocolates up. Yummy!
Our second activity was to fold the coloured papers and dividing it into equal parts. Then we shaded the part that we wanted and write down the fraction next to it.
We love Graph! It is easy. Our teacher gave us some colourful strips of paper and then, in our group, we pasted the same coloured strips together in one row and we continue until we had pasted every piece onto the paper. We also learn how to read the scales. It is very important to look at the scale first. This is to tell us what each strip of coloured paper stands for.
We also had a weekend homework. We had to buy a packet of M&Ms peanut chocolates and create a graph at home. Then, our teacher gave us some questions to complete. It was fun. We love to do our home activities with our parents.
One of our favourite is the Compound Words. These are very interesting words. We learnt that if we separated the word from one another, we can get two different words.
For example, Star + Fish = Starfish
That's it for now!
Bye!
